...he same television station and that is exactly what happened. Susan and Emily moved to Kansas City, Missouri and become field reporters for KFWZ television station. It seemed that they had everything going their way until late December. Emily started to feel weak and having severe headaches. She made an appointment to see the doctor and found out that she had a brain tumor. The tumor was inoperable and that Emily had a few months to live. The news was not only devastating to Emily but Susan could not bring herself to the reality of Emily’s tragic diagnosis. When Emily passed away the following summer, Susan went into a deep depression. She was angry that Emily had left her alone. Every time she felt the smallest degree of pain she was certain that she had a terminal illness. She would wake up each morning feeling nauseous and numb. Susan would make an appointment to go see a doctor only to hear that they could not find any physical reason for her nausea or numb feelings.
