...school are different is because you have more responsibilities. You are responsible for yourself in college. You have to become responsible and get yourself to class. You are also responsible for doing your work and studying for your test. Since there is not many make-up work or bonus points, every assignment and test counts for a lot of points. There are more responsibilities in college because most professors don’t care if you pass or not. It isn’t like high school where you were able to miss class and never do any work. A third way college and high school are different is because college is very expensive. College is expensive because you have to pay for your tuition and all your books. Some students have to drive a distance to school, which causes gas to be expensive. There is also an expense for lunch. In college, you are responsible for coming up with your own lunch money. On the other hand, high school is very different from college. High school is a lot easier than college. Because there are more graded assignments, you are able to make a few bad grades. You also meet more often than you do in college; therefore, you have less homework and your classes are shorter. Since high school is lower level courses than college, it makes high school easier. High school and college are also different because you have fewer responsibilities in high school. Because of state laws, you are not able to miss school without documentation.
