...onus that the winning store would get. We all needed and wanted the money so that was our main goal. Get sales for the store, and get money in our pockets. Everyone decided that I should be the “leader” of the group. The next thing we talked about was some rules. We came up with that everyone would do their very best to make every meeting, and if they couldn’t that they would call to get the information they missed. We would listen to everyone’s ideas without negative criticism. Finally that everyone would get a chance to speak and be heard. We then got down to the issue of trusting one another. Most of us had worked together for quite a while so we were comfortable with each other. There were some new people and we had no reason not to trust them and we decided that they should be given the same level of trust as everyone else. We had no reason not to trust them and until shone otherwise we would. Next, the fun part; we went around the table and discussed our hobbies. We found out that a new girl was quite an artist and could really be creative with some signs that we were going to need. We were all creative in on way or another so this was starting to get exciting. During our meeting we found that a lot of us had quite a few things in common. Another person was a district manager for a store similar to ours before she had to quit to have her baby. She could really be of help to us. Before we knew it we had all kinds of ideas. I noticed that one girl was rather quiet, so I asked her if there was anything that she would like to ad. She was rather nervous about voicing her opinion, but all of us wanted to hear what she had to say so with a lot of encouragement she finally told us her ideas. She thought we should have balloons and streamers out in front of the store to draw people in to see what the excitement was about. We all thought it was a great idea, nobody had even thought of that before. That seemed to build her confidence level and pretty soon she was throwing out ideas just as loud and fast as the rest of us. Everyone was working really hard to reach our goal. There was one person in the group that was rather bossy. One girl in particular seemed to have a real problem with this person. I was worried that something negative was about to happen, so I to...
