Compare and Contrast Like Beast, little mermaid is not quite human but needs human love
...came off to be so terrible is really a wonderful beast with feelings unexplainable. When the merchant lost all his goods and money, beast made sure he didn’t fall apart and lose courage; he fed him, clothed him and had a bed for him. He just wanted to be part of the human world as well. When the mermaid was fifteen years old she had the chance to finally swim to the top of the sea and look out at the world. But she had to first go to the witch to have her give a potion to loose her fish tail replace with legs, only way this happened was if she gave up her beautiful voice which she was so proud of. Mermaid would do anything to hopefully meet that handsome man of her dreams, and so she did….knowing the pain she would be in every step she took. The beast on the other hand the beast let the merchant go home as long as he brought 1 of his daughters back to the palace to take his place, the Beast made her life and did anything and everything to make her happy, he fell in love with her and just wanted her as his wife and for beauty to love him as a human.
