He received a lot of criticism from this album due to its references to cops being killed. Tupac followed up in 1993 with “Strictly for my N***** which is referred to as one of his best selling albums. In that year he was nominated for an American Music Award as best new rap hip-hop artist. After that album Tupac was sentenced to jail for sexual abuse and was in jail for eight months after being bailed out by Death Row Records C.E.O Suge Knight. After jail Tupac released “All eyes on me” which sold more than five million albums and had a number one single. Tupac’s life is deeper than music. He also wrote poetry one poem is called “Concrete Rose”. The media portrayed him as a tattooed thug and had the attention of the people on that instead of his music.
