Life Lessons!

...All I could remember from my fifteen years of being on this beautiful, vibrant yet challenging world was the feeling of hopelessness of being lost, never quite being good enough for people. I look back at my life and I remember the occasions where I would be in this vast crowd of teenagers and young adults just starting out in the world and yet I remember the feeling of being so alone because I had nothing in common with these persons and I so wanted to fit in, to be like them but luckily I always found myself again. Finding that I would rather be hated and discarded than to be one of them, not being a judge or classing them all as the same, but there was always this vibe or notion I sensed in the air: of hurt and pain that they themselves did but know the source of. But, sadly I knew, I knew that it was not direct pain of there own lives…..but those of they’re ancestors those…....of generations past who came here because of ridicule of slavery of abolishment of hurt. All those significant contributors to these beautiful Bahamian lands, our generations past: the Eleutheran adventurers, loyalists, the slaves of Africa, some may not think that this explanation is plausible or likely. There was just all this hurt and hypocrisy in the methods of parenting and even in everyday life in the Bahamas. Some may think of this as just my own foolish excuse for the life I led…but to me it is just your opinion and your opinion your voice is the most important treasures that we as human beings have been blessed with. For as long as I can remember I always saw life through emotion, through spirituality, through not the physical but the lives that people have led. As I started realizing who I truly was…I never again thought about the physical appearances of people but sometimes people would find me starring at them (myself sometimes not even knowing it) and I would take on there feelings I have this thing where...
