That’s not all, you might think he is just only like that with Linda, but when it comes to his sons, he treats them completely different. Willy pays full attention to Biff by caring and worrying for him. He has a strong belief towards Biff and always tries to bring out his good nature. Even when Biff cheats and steals, Willy didn’t take it serious because he claimed that Biff was young and successful. When it comes to Happy, Willy doesn’t seem to show that much care and he rarely speaks to him. Willy doesn’t seem to have anything against Happy. It’s the fact that he doesn’t have time for Happy. Linda aware of the incidents that are happening around the home and she is trying her hardest to fix things that she believes she could fix. When it comes to Willy, she looks after him as a mother and treats him like a little child. She support’s Willy with his effort to maintain his self-esteem even though she knows the truth. Linda’s understanding with Biff is not clear because she does not understand why Biff leaves his father at the restaurant. She tries to make Biff be responsible and would like him to grow up. Her attitude towards Biff is totally different compared to Willy. She admires the way all the high-school boys obey Biff and does all things only to keep Willy happy. As I mentioned earlier, both Willy and Linda do not take Happy serious. When Happy states that he is going to get married, Linda does not take it serious because she assumes that he is joking around. Biff was a football star and a leader in high school, but he was dishonest and wasn’t performing well in school. After high school he became dreadful, jumping from one job to another and spending frequent times in the jail. I thought he came home to stay but I was wrong. It seems like Biff is trying to change and become successful in his life but doesn’t know what to do in order to achieve his goals. Also mom, Biff is not talking with uncle Willy properly. I think there’s something that is bothering Biff which has some sort of connection to Uncle Willy. Linda informed me that Biff would call his father every night to talk and how he loved to polish Willy’s car to make it shiny. Biff and Happy seem pretty close to each other and they often have a lot of fun. Also Biff seems to care for Happy more than uncle or aunty do. You won’t believe mom but Happy has changed a lot.
