Addressing the debate of evolution and creation has always been a mechanism for creating controversy and awareness. There are those that wish to suppress information and eliminate any support or argument for creation. Fundamentalist and evolutionists have been clashing in court over religion in schools. Starting with the 1925 case of The State of Tennessee vs. John Scope whereas, he was charged with illegally teaching the theory of evolution in class. Also, in 1981 in Arkansas a bill was passed called Act 590 entitled “Balanced Treatment for Creation Science Act”. This bill allows schools to give equal time to theories of evolution and creation.
