...y I choose to reflect on aggression is because I have always personally wondered why it exists. With the world being made up of such diverse and unique individuals, would it not be great if we could just all get along. If we could just learn that there is nothing that we can do to change our ethnicity or our gender and to accept each other as we are. Just imagine how harmonious our nation would be if we stopped bickering, killing, backbiting, etc. and just came together and incorporated our ideas as well as our current tools as a nation. We would not know what a war is or we would then be able to forgive, not forgetting, and move on. Currently I am on a committee called the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The aim of this commission is to seek the truth surrounding this event as a means of fostering reconciliation and healing in the community.
