My disability of being a woman
...ent to my friend Tracy’s house to watch movies that we rented, and I came home at 11:30 pm. My parents had a royal eruption, because I didn’t call and tell them where I was and when I would be home. In the morning they said, “Where were you last night?, How come you didn’t call?, Who were you with?” They had a million questions for me, in comparison to my brother’s “one” question. After all this I decided that if I wanted to hang out with my friends, it would have to be here at my house. When I arrived, my grandmother asked me frantically “Where were you?” she said, “Your brother went to pick you up and you weren’t there, so he went to ask your mom where you were.” “Your mother wants you to call her at work, she is worried sick about you.” She said. When I called my mother all she would ask me was “Where were you?” and “Who were you with?” When I got home, I explained to my mother we just went to Dairy Queen to eat and then I went straight to grandma’s. She didn’t believe me and forced me to stop dating Jason. Later on in the month I was so stres...
