Inspiration

...t everything, to the best of my abilities, and commit my findings to memory. When wonder fails me, I try to create it in my imagination. When I get bored, frustrated or distracted I withdraw into my mind, and I brainstorm fictitious worlds were I make the rules. I create pocket universes with as much mechanical and cultural detail as possible. When I feel comfortable enough with my mental efforts I try and put those thoughts to paper, either in printed word or graphically. When I have the necessary skills available to present these thoughts to the world I want to write novels or stories for a living, or maybe make films. I want to give out my thoughts to other people so they might see the world as I do. I want to this not for a sense of recognition but rather to loan my perspective to other people. Individuals like Stan Lee, Robert Ason Hienlien, Sam Raimi, Margaret Wiess and Jhonen Vasquez, have been my prime examples. They are creators of the highest class, who infuse their own essence on every thought and image they forge. People the world over look to them for entertainment and awe, and they always selflessly provide. I want to be like them so I can do the same: create and interpret, and leave myself behind in the process. I feel inspired when I see my friends and peers put themselves in their work and build new things in a genuine effort to make. I have no illusions of grandeur. I know that few people attain this authority and capacity within their own select circles, but I think it would still be fun to do. If all else fails and I never write in a professional sense, then I will do it privately for myself, and run a bookstore, or work in one.
