Proposal to End Religious Persecution

Most people would agree that it means to have the freedom to choose any religion of their choice, or no religion if they choose. However, it is not possible to have “freedom” of religion unless the world is completely “free” of all religions. So, my proposal is to rid the world of all religions so that no one can ever be persecuted for the sake of religion again. The first step in carrying out the proposal is to have all world governmental officials form and declare a freedom of religion where the world is to be absolutely free of all religion. Every single church, temple, or religious meeting place should be burned to the ground. Colleges can remain, but must change to a secular college with no religious background. It is necessary that all religious church officials must die. Any preachers, deacons, priests, and bishops will be injected with poison. Their death will not be violent, since they have really done nothing wrong. The reason they must die is because they will more than likely rebel against the law and continue to preach their religion. After all, church officials will definitely be more resentful than the everyday citizen. These church officials should not want to rebel but understand why they must die. If they truly care about the well-being of their followers, then they should deliver themselves to the government. They should willingly perform this sacrifice for the betterment of the world as a whole. If they do not want to sacrifice themselves, then they obviously do not truly care about their followers. The everyday religious citizen will be allowed to live but must abide by the law. If there is any sign of rebellious attitude from any person, they will be tortured profusely. Every person will learn to fear this punishment and will be scared to rebel against the new law. No one will be allowed to openly declare their faith or share it with anyone else.
