Bad Boys
...here is a big fight scene between the good guys and the bad guys, and the good guys always come out on top as stated in the quote. During the movie at the end they are in Cuba chasing the drug dealer in the final reel, and like always Smith and Lawrence shoot the bad guy, and kill him to reestablish the moral order. Ray2 During the movie there are many different situations that Smith and Lawrence get themselves into. “The Western provided infinite variety on a relatively small stable of situations and plots, with conflicts often growing out of several archetypal situations: ranchers vs. farmers, Indians vs. settlers, outlaws vs. civilization” (Johnson 328). What this quote is basically saying is that one problem will result in a fight or brawl between the good guys and the bad guys. As for in the movie there are many instances that Smith and Lawrence face brawls against the bad guys. One includes Smith and Lawrence staked out watching for this drug dealer, then all the sudden the drug dealer comes into the picture to sell his drugs to someone else. As this is going on a group of thefts see this action and rob them. At this time Smith and Lawrence are in a chase after the people that shot and killed the drug dealer. So like the quote said one problem or situation will lead into a brawl between the good guys and the bad guys. During the movie Smith and Lawrence take matters into there own hands to resolve their conflicts. “Everyone wore a six-shooter, complex moral conflicts could be plausibly resolved in clear, clean violent action” (Johnson 326). This quotes states that basically they take care of things in their own way, the main meaning the quote is trying to say is they are taking matters into their own hands. They don’t let the police or the sheriff take care of it they handle it themselves. As for the movie Bad Boys 2, near the end of the movie Lawrence’s sister gets kidnaped by the drug dealer they are after. Due to this action it results into a huge brawl.
