...he was younger she had many hard ships. She was poor and nobody paid her any attention. They paid her sister more attention. Her sister's name is Norma. Even though her family was poor, they did own a lot of books. Phyllis got a lot of pleasure out of reading and her father would read to her at night. Phyllis stuck through her hard ships, even though it was very difficult. I admire her because she taught me a lesson. No matter how hard life is it can always be worse. I also learned another lesson from Phyllis; it is always better to try again if you get put down. She discovered by writing that humor is a good way to face problems. She is talented in a lot of areas, such as acting, painting, and singing. She contributed many books that she wrote to the world. Some of those books are Shiloh, Shiloh Season, Saving Shiloh, and Night Cry. She goes around the United States to read books to kids. One of her books How I Became a Writer encourages young people to write and describes her writing experiences. She published her first book when she was sixteen years old and still continues to write today. She has entertained, encouraged 2 young people to dream, and made reading fun for a lot of people. ...
