In order to see an unjust situation from all angles and truly determine if it really is an unjust act, the person must be of clear mind, they must put their personal feelings aside and deal with the situation as lawful as possible, because Justice isn't something that can be dealt out anywhere, it must be carefully dealt with, planned. For every unjust act, justice must be dealt out with equal force, killing someone for insults is definately not just, because in weighing the situation, someones life is not as important as what is arguably a few moments of mental anguish. The differences between Justice and Vengeance is that Justice is clear-minded and unbiased. Justice is commonly overviewed because the victim will usually be blind-sided by rage and take their version of "Justice" into their own hands, ultimately turning it into Vengeance. Vengeance is a personal quest for what the individual decides justice to be, whereas Justice is a universal system for dealing out punishment to all, equally. Vengeance is, in actual fact a neutral feeling, regardless of the many beliefs people have with exacting revenge as being an evil act. Everyone feels the need for revenge, regardless of the path they follow, but the people that control that feeling of anger and hate, are those that would seek to follow the path of Justice. Those that follow Justice will usually tend to follow the path of Good, because to follow Justice, you follow Judgement and Law aswell, and by follow these three tenets, people will find themselves exacting deeds that are righteous and of good nature. Vengeance is a really personal feeling, by choosing to take revenge, the hunted will strike at the hunter with fury that can only be matched by cold Vengeance that boils up over time. Many people choose Vengeance because it is satisfying, the feeling of revenge for unjust deeds done to you by someone can make all the energy and time worth the outcome. Due to Vengeance being open to personal interpretation, people most oftenly will deal out more punishment then needed when seen by outside parties and this is where many people see it as being evil.
