Teens who have grown up with disciplined are half as likely to get into trouble. Children with no discipline are more likely to lie, cheat in school and get into fights. This is the time they need us to guide them and be their inner strength. Our love needs to be the basis of our relationship with our children and loving our child for who they are and not for what they do. You want to establish a very loving parent to our children but still have a limitation. Our children need to know that no matter what they do we will continue to love and support them. Our love can help our child understand easily that we want them to be healthy and successful adults. Love can change our lives and our children lives. We need to be consistent with all the rules we put to our children. If we tell our child no and then eventually end up letting the child do what they wanted, we are setting ourselves up for disaster.
