My topic for the Argumentative Essay is should parents encourage or discourage their children to learn about and associate with children with different backgrounds from their own. To limit a child from socializing with other children is to limit their learning experiences and possibly their views as they get older. If a parent is to discourage socializing with children accept those that are the same as them can the child may end up like a 21st century Hitler, who believed that one race, faith was better then any other. Therefore, there are several reasons why we should encourage our children to learn about other faiths, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Let’s take religious backgrounds first. You may want to understand and know how different religions are so when they come to your home you would know what they can and cannot eat. Some examples are Mormons do not drink hot drinks with caffeine, Jewish people do no it eat pork.
