For example, if you are helping your relatives financially without the knowledge of your spouse and later she found it by accident, it might hurt your partner because you are not giving her the chance to understand that it is not bad to help those who are in need .You should both deal with the problem together and honestly to avoid conflict. If you lie to your partner, you are not only lying to the person but you are also hurting the relationship. By that, you are weakening your marriage. The last aspect of commitment is that marriage must be supported by love and affection. Love and affection should be managed and carried out, despite the trials, errors, and shortcomings we may encounter in early-married life. Everybody makes mistakes, and in marriage, a couple must learn to accept and forgive. We all deserve a second chance especially in marriage because those mistakes are best lesson for every married couple to strengthen the marriage. Nobody is perfect, as the saying goes, and in order to have a good marriage, experience and lessons are the best teachers. For example, your habit in the bathroom when you were still single may not be acceptable to your spouse. If your spouse is the kind of person who keeps the bathroom immaculately clean and suddenly here you are spilling toothpaste in the sink, it might cause an argument. Ultimately, situations like this should be resolved immediately in order to avoid conflict. The second factor of a good marriage is the preparedness of a married couple to face new responsibilities as a family. It will be a great help for any couple who are planning to marry to be physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually prepared. First, a couple must know that they are both physically and emotionally prepared to raise a family. It is not a joke to raise children and teach them good moral values as they grow up. Whatever you teach to your children will definitely reflect on the parents. For example, children must be taught to respect their elders. And if a couple were not ready for these new responsibilities, marriage wouldn’t be successful. Couples must also be financially capable of providing for his/her family. If you can’t support your family, then you are just going to make your family life miserable. You must provide them with basic needs like food, shelter, clothing etc. And lastly, a married couple must be spiritually prepared to have a good marriage. It is not uncommon for any married couple to have arguments. They might fight for a very simple reason, which sometimes ends up in separation. For example, if you and your husband have a misunderstanding of just a very simple thing like who must do the laundry because both of you are tired, instead of wasting your energy in shouting or yelling, get out from the house for a while and let the heat subside.
