Hitler’s plan, the Final Solution, resulted in concentration and death camps through out Germany, Poland, and others that were under Nazi control. The hatred towards the Jewish community not always legal in Germany until the “Nuremberg laws” were put into effect. “1. The Law for the Protection of Hereditary Health”(which really didn’t pertain to the jews) , “2. The Nuremberg Laws on Citizenship and Race,” and “3. The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor” are the three Nuremberg laws that were passed on September 15, 1935 (Jsource). “3. The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor” and “2. The Nuremberg Laws on Citizenship and Race” were both a major step on the path to the Final Solution. The third Nuremberg Law issued: Probation against the marriage of Jew to non-Jews (Nova). Sexual relations between Jews and Aryans becomes a crime (Nova). Work possibilities for Jews narrowed to just a few professions (Nova). Also Jewish children were prohibited from using the same playgrounds and locker rooms as the other non-Jewish children (Nova). The third law had seven sections to it of which all are restrictions for Jews, on it there are signatures from The Fuehrer and Reich Chancellor: Adolph Hitler, The Reich Minister of the Interior: Frick, The Reich Minister of Justice: Dr. Goertner, and The Deputy of the Fuehrer: R. Hess (Primary). The second Nuremberg Law issued: Denied Jews voting rights and were forbidden to hold public office (Nova). Discharge of all Jewish civil service employees, including World War 1 front-line veterans (Nova). The second law defined a jew as anyone with at least three Jewish grandparents (ProQuest). In addition, individuals having two Jewish grandparents and who were members of the Jewish religious community or who were married to Jews were legally classified as Jews (ProQuest). Also so-called Mischlinge of the first degree (half-Jews) were individuals with two Jewish grandparents (ProQuest). Mischlinge of the second degree (quarter-jews) had one (ProQuest). This grading scale of whether the individual was Jewish or not had Jews frightened of the consequences from the Nazi party. So some of the soldiers had successfully hid their Jewish background and went along with the anti-Jewish aggression. Although Hitler did grant hundreds of exemptions, including elevating many people with some Jewish ancestry to the status of “German-blooded (ProQuest). The aggression for years after the passing of the Nuremberg Laws, millions of Jewish people were killed, they were being pushed out of the German economy.
