...ing aloud. By pointing this out to me you inspired me to work on reading aloud. I have been practicing in front of a mirror this semester and slowly my ability to read aloud has improved. Now it is clear to me that I can confidently read aloud in any class without having to stumble or use the word um. The required journal was an assignment that I found to be most helpful. After flip through it and reading early entries, I now realize that I have a habit of bottling up my emotions. The journal has been a privet outlet for these emotions. Because of the journal I am no longer as stressed and am an all around happier person. Even though the journal was very helpful, the advice you gave me in the one on one meeting has been the most helpful in my writing. The exercise that you told me to try was the fairy tail one. This is where I attempt to write a story in a fairy tail form and then try and recreate it into a more sophisticated piece of writing. Obviously, my writing still needs to improve, but my writing has taken a step in the right direction.
