Optimism
...g for my high school’s senior citizens prom. At first I wasn’t too happy providing my services for free for such an event, but I looked passed that to find the good in the situation. I realized that I was bringing happiness into these aged people’s stale lives and learned a lot from them as well. They appreciated what I did and their immense gratitude was enough payment for me. Even when I know that it is very unlikely that I will catch up to win the race, I play it till the end, always with that hope that I have a chance to make it at the end. Being hopeful and not giving up makes me a stronger and more optimistic person. When I look into the future, I can see myself doing really well at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
