My First Experience of death of my grand mother
...ed to hospitalize because she wanted to die with her family. We all were very worried about her. Well I at that time didn’t know what was going on, all I knew was that my grandmother was sick but that sick I never realized. During her last days many of our relatives were coming to visit my grandmother. I didn’t understand what was going on. “Mommy why everyone is coming to visit grandmother?” I often asked my mother, and my mother told me to be quiet. On the last day of her with us I still remember that she looked very graceful even though she looked like a pack of skin and bones. My auntie came to visit her and brought her something to eat which she refused on purpose because she was eating nothing. After few minutes she left and then other relatives came to visit her. After few hours there were so many relatives that I was getting annoyed from them and wished them to go away. But they just keep coming. During the middle of the day she became a little sicker and she was having trouble in breathing. My uncle called a doctor and the doctor gave her some pills which made her calm down. Most of my family was crying specially my mother. She was crying like she will be gone forever, actually that was what I was thinking that why everyone is crying like she will be gone forever. Hearing this question one of my uncle said angrily that can’t I see what is happening to your grandmother while some said gently that just be quiet and don’t disturb anyone. I was now scared because now people were coming like dozens and they put a coffin in our lawn for which I asked my mother that what’s that coffin doing in our home. For which my mom just kept quite while gazing at me. After few hours people left and there was quietness like the one you can find in a graveyard or in a grave. I was playing with my toys when my grandfather’s brother came with his wife again. I went to her room and I was looking at them from the edge of the door.
