...line peaks and we're left with afterglow. Without that, yes you leave us wanting more, but it's more the musical equivalent of blue-balls, and who thinks that's fun? When you get right down to it, BORD is a punk band. They don't pretend to be anything else--I really don't think they want to be anything else. You see, a punk band plays for themselves. Yes, they realize they may evoke emotions in their fans and that's great, but it isn't what they are setting out to do. The only feelings they are trying to bring out in the screaming masses are the feelings that come along with "rocking out" -- you know, bopping your head, jumping around, and getting stupid-happy-crazy. It's cool if someone relates to what the band is saying (whether or not it's what they felt when they wrote the song), but that's not the reason they do what they do. They do it because they love it, they do it because it's fun. If they were to keep playing after it became "work" or a "business" the punk fans would know. (And so, more importantly, would the band!)
