...lationship or the first stages of trying to build a relationship, Black men are known for not being fully committed to the cause. For example, the Black man still is having casual sex with females he meets at different locations but he knows that he have a girlfriend at home waiting for him to return. So many Black women put up with this that the trend continues. Black women usually stay with these Black men for countless reasons: because they feel that they could not get another man if they leave this one, security, financial, and mental reasons. Black men say all the right things to get Black women and sometimes even wine and dine them but do not seem to live up to all the broken promises they assure would happen. Black women are forced to just accept what life gives them. Well, Black women that is not strong enough to assert themselves and demand respect. Most just take what they can get. Even women that have been to college and graduated with a Master’s Degree still have tendency to still accept less than they are worth. Society has brained wash so many ideas of a perfect world that Black women often reduced themselves to try to fit in those categories. Such as, if a woman do not have a man something must be wrong with that woman. So to make sure that they are not one of those women they allow any man to enter their lives just because they do not want to be one of those women that do not have a man. Regardless if the man has the same social status, wealth, or even religious beliefs. Because society has supported unrealistic ideas that Black women own them to be true. Now, these ideas have been present for so many generations it is accepted as truth and the right way of life. The saying is “Behind every good Black man lays a strong Black woman.” So now, not only the woman does all the work and the Black man gets all the credit for it, is presented as right.
