... for athletics, especially volleyball. I lettered all four years of high school and received academic all-state selection each year as well. In my spare time, I help the junior high volleyball players and serve as a role model and leader. I also compete in high school softball, and have lettered and received academic all-state all three years I participated. I strive to stay involved with my community and school. I am involved in Key Club, Pep Club, Senior Class Committee, National Honor Society, and Project Hope, a community shelter and food pantry. My involvement in Key Club has helped me realize the importance of staying connected with my elders and peers. Pep Club has allowed me to show my enthusiasm for my school and collaborate with a variety of individuals as we share our ideas. Serving on the Senior Class Committee gives me the opportunity to help and guide my fellow classmates in organizing various events. Being selected to National Honor Society was a great achievement of mine, because membership selection is based on scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Project Hope provided me with an experience I only wish everyone could have. Our group has helped those in our community by holding food drives, blood drives, and many other life-changing events. These clubs and activities all require responsibility, dependability, and ambition. I am proud to be known as a leader and influential person in my community and school. All the clubs I have mentioned have one thing in common: they all require a great amount of leadership.
