Outsourcing Jobs to Foreign Countries
... Korea or China is willing to do the same job at a fraction of the cost that an American worker would expect to receive. Without these loyal American workers that have lost their jobs many of these executives wouldn’t have had a strong, profitable company in the first place. Corporations have basically kicked many people out to the curb just to make an extra buck. These layoffs have created many people on unemployment that have no other skill than the job that they were trained to do in these factories, and they can’t get another job in the same field because the majority of the other factories are moving across the ocean in search of cheaper labor. This has left many people with no real jobs within the scope of their education, and the American tax payer is going to have to help many of these people of their feet. Many of the company’s goals to lower costs and make more profit or lower the prices of their products could backfire because as unemployment grows and the amount of people living in poverty grows with it, there will be many less customers able to afford the products they are producing.
