...es on the wall with honors, degrees, and everything else impressive, but then he said to you that this was his first operation on anybody, would you be scared and would you maybe even leave the dentist office? I know that I would rather be operated on by someone who never went to school in his life, but had been doing dentistry for years than someone who graduated with honors from Harvard who had never operated on someone in his life. I feel that being educated is far more important than being schooled. I think that if I were to spend twenty hours in the week in the library reading up on certain subjects that I would be a smarter person than what I am doing right now, which is going to school for fifteen hours, doing homework, and other things related to school. There are definately some great things about school that I cannot deny. School gives people something to do. It keeps kids off the streets, promotes self esteem, and all in all people do learn a lot from school. I just feel that having experience and actually wanting to do something , wanting to learn is the greatest way to have knowledge of...
