Personal Goals I Want to Achieve as a University of Phoenix student
...e on those skills, since I know they are crucial in any business. I know it will be very educational for me and my objective is to take advantage of this opportunity and learn through practice. The learning environment as a team is something new to me, which is a key focus for the University of Phoenix. My grades are very important to me as an individual, so I will strive to help our team in every possible way. Also, maintaining a 4.0 GPA is important to me. By achieving these goals, it will allow me to receive my Bachelor’s in Accounting. Obtaining the skills I will need to be an Accountant with online courses will be an interesting challenge for me. The first three classes I take will be on campus, and then I will switch to online. I plan on taking concurrent classes as soon possible in order to get my Bachelors by the end of 2006. Being an Accountant will open many doors for me in the future. I believe it will not only be the beginning of a new career, but a fresh outlook at life as a whole. In addition to being an accountant, it seems of no value to me without being a CPA. The University of Phoenix offers an MBA which would qualify me to sit for the CPA exams. After research, I found that some requirements to take the tests are having 39 semester hours in business. My goal is to have my MBA by the end of 2007 and CPA around the middle of 2009.
