The bible states: “I made you in my image”. This means that God made us who we are, and we did not choose to be anyone but ourselves. Many scientists over the years have had various studies to find evidence on whether someone is born gay or it is a choice. One scientist was Simon LeVay. He himself was gay. In his study he found that a specific gene carried on the maternal line had an influence on sexual orientation in men. There studies suggest strongly that sexual orientation is rooted in biology and it not a matter of choice.
