The Application of Asymptotic Method In The Crystal Growth Pattern
...is one of the most efficient tools in solving these problems. This paper, based on the results of the elders, presents a corresponding model concerned with dendrite growth. In addition, a neat method is given and its analytic solution is obtained for the first time when dendrite growth is in steady state. At the same time, by the use of asymptotic method, this model is solved, two kinds of methods give the same result. However, we can see that asymptotic method is easier. What's more, if a partial differential equation become more difficult, we can still use asymptotic method to solve it. Thus, asymptotic method is more universal and is operated conveniently. The obtained solution presents cyclic oscillation attenuation along the dendrite growth direction in steady status. This result is perfectly coincided with the experiment result performed by Nan Jing University.
