By movies, American culture imports values and ideas all over the world. Sometimes these values are not showing the truth. For many foreigners movies are the windows where they get the information about America. And they think that America is the way it is shown in the movies. For example in the movie Cellular everything seems to be in perfect harmony. The positive actors look attractive and funny while the criminals ugly and boring. Also the high school teacher lives in a very expansive house which in reality can not be afforded by her. In fact many peopole think that everything in the movies is true and they adopt them. There are many ways that American Culture influences the world including art music, and products. Although Americanization has a great influence on other cultures, it is not making them disapear because the American culture itself is formed by combionation of different cultures, many countries still prefer their products and their values instead of the American ones, English is becoming a second language but is not making other languages disapear and many American products and values are even influence by the local culture and are adapted to it. America is a melting pot where people from every country in the world exercise their culture and the combination of these cultures have formed the American culture. And after that America gives back the culture to the rest of the world. For example although pizzas are one of the favourite foods in America it is italian and the Pizza Hut restaurants through out the world does not mean that they are spreading the American food and the way of eating. McDonald's is the symbol of America in the world but Hamburgers is not an American food. It is an European food but spread by an american company. Even the most important way of American culture exportation, cinema, is a French invetntion. Levi Strauss,the inventor of jeans was an immigrant from Germany, but what he invented become an American symbol. So everyone in the world finds something common in the American culture so they embrace parts of it. Although America is the country that exports the most products, people in other countries still prefer their products better. They use American occasionally but the products they are used to consume are their favourites. The same thing can be said about the culture values. In different countries the traditional food is still what people eat most, in spite of existence of many American fast food restaurants.In India there are six more times Indian restaurants than Mcdonald's restaurants. France and Italy are still the counties that produce the biggest amount of wine in the world.
