The things people cherish most are money and material goods, and the more money and material goods you have makes a person feel as if they are higher up on the social rating. Everybody in American society judges a person, how they act, and what they are like only on the fact of knowing what a person does or does not have. People have adopted names to the less fortunate like “trash” and that little word is what a person is judged off of. The person may be the nicest person in the world, but because they are not driving a 35,000$ car and live in a trailer, people often look down upon them.
