Womesn Movement
...eflected in lower paying wages and fewer opportunities. All women wanted were to be treated with the same respect as men. This was the beginning and rise of a new movement in the 1960’s. Feminism, the belief that men and women should be equal politically, economically, and socially, has been an issue since the Nineteenth Amendment guaranteeing women’s voting rights in 1920 (History Book 807).
