Name of the Rose book review

...may please. Luckily in Adsos case, William was a very educated and understanding man who was open to different explanations of how things are and came to be. It was very possible that a teacher could become overly prideful in his knowledge and start to feel dominance over his student. This could possibly cause the teacher view himself as greater than the rest. This is not a good thing, however it was very common, not only within this small relationship of teacher to student, but also in the larger aspect of “The Church” to the “people”.
