He would never say anything bad to you so that is good also. The fact that he is mentally retarded is bad because he can get you in a lot of trouble. In the book Lennie and George are always running from cops and other people because Lennie always gets them in trouble. This is bad because you can not tempt him with something because he will get you in trouble. Overall, the positive sides of Lennie overcome the negatives because two heads are better than one. George is Lennie’s best friend and soul mate. He does tend to insult him but Lennie does not get mad. This is bad because he can take advantage of Lennie. Even though Lennie does still like George, he still one day might take him seriously and believe him and that would mean he will probably become depressed.
