Can women ever achieve real equality with men in the workplace

Whereas, it does not mean that women can do the same jobs with men in some areas. Physical works, for example, are suit to be done by men. As women, their characters are scrupulous, patient and accommodating; therefore, because of these women’s characters, they are more likely to do some jobs like secretary, teacher and doctor. Similarly, men can not do some jobs better than women in these areas. Thus, the reason that women can not achieve real equality with men in workplace is not different gender but careers’ property. On the other hand, physiological reason is another important reason for women can not be equal to men in workplace. Every woman has to face getting marriage and raising children in her twenties and thirties. However, during this time, it is also the golden ages for women to work. Some women have to give up raising children in order to achieving occupational success. A Labor Ministry survey (Makihara, 1990) stated that three fifths of management-level women were single and 36% were childless. Nevertheless, there are still many women do not want to give up the right of raising children. In china, female university students are harder to find a job than male students.
