My ultimate goal is to become a music executive and own a chain of restaurants and night clubs.Once I receive my degree I want to work in a radio station as a disc jockey to start then I want to work in the business side such as becoming a general manger. I would also like to work in a recording studio as a sound engineer. These days engineers are needed just as much as the producer and artist. I want to be holistically involved in the music industry in order to make money in all types of fields of entertainment. The rate that the economy is going the entertainment industry is not being affected. A situation that I don’t mind experiencing is one that demonstrates initiative and my willingness to go above and beyond is trying to land a job with one of the biggest hip hop record label; Def Jam Records. If I was just hired and ask to stay late to help out a co-worker with a project that would not affect me but could help me with a better position in the company, I would stay until the job is finished.
