These ideas all will help Joe recall all information and store it in to his long term memory. The way Joe would be able to benefit from these strategies is that in his prior studying Joe lost his information. All the had studied was being stored into his short term memory. Joe needs to use the encoding strategies to help keep his information on his fingertips. All the idea’s and strategies we have talked about will move Joe into the right direction. This will help him remember everything he has learned. These will also being to teach Joe the proper ways to study. Joe is having trouble maintain the ability to recall and identify the bones of the body. The reason why he is having trouble is due to his inability to store information in to his long term memory. Joe could either be studying the night before, or just not studying enough. If he is studying enough and he is just having trouble recalling the information then Joe is having trouble in his short term memory and to his long term memory. He could and I think he is getting stuck in the middle somewhere maybe at encoding. What I would recommend for Joe is to record all the bones of the body on to a tape that he could play all night while he is sleeping. This method has worked for many people because they wake up having dreamt about the tape recording.
