They see everything as black and white not the whole picture they see more and count more and think more is better. (D) Children in the junior high level have trouble with formal operations because the are still growing and learning they are stuck in two different levels. They have trouble choosing or learning things. They see the problem but do not have any idea on how to approach the situation. The growth of the child is key to there success, if they are learning faster they will have an easier time with formal thoughts.
