Like Luther Augustine diffidently grew up similarly so they would have a lot in common and probably share some stories from their past about growing up in a stern school at a young age and how it affected their life. As the conversation proceeded to grow I feel it would lead into how their child hoods and education history affected decisions they made and how it affected their life. I feel that at no time would the conversation get heated because neither man would pipe up for any reason because they can get their point across so good without raising their voice. I feel the conversation would diffidently lead into discussion about what forced them to challenge the authority at the time. I think that Augustine would explain the reasoning behind leaving Manichaeism in witch he was not truly convinced of their interpretation off the bible. He would talk about the stages in his life and how he eventually asked to be baptized and became a bishop of the church. I feel at this point Martin Luther would diffidently challenge Augustine on some issues at hand. I feel like Luther was famous for He would challenge Augustine on the state of the Catholic Church and what it truly stands for and the importance of living a life of Christianity and not just preaching it. I feel Augustine would challenge the current discipline of the Lutheran faith that was founded in Martin Lathers name. I feel threw out the course of the conversation it would be important for Luther to describe the state of the Catholic Church when he wrote the 95 theis. I feel Luther would describe the corruption of the church at the time and he felt that it was needed in order to challenge the church and what he had to endure as far repercussions from which he wrote. I feel that Augustine would be some what understanding of what Luther had to go threw but disagree with many view points of revolution and Luther’s break with Rome.
