Man's search for meaning

...the body out. The person took the body out and had to drag it by its feet and had to go over a large step in which so did the body. The humiliation of being naked if front of everyone and wet from the showers in the cold was another event that took place. The upsetting part of thinking that everyone in the concentration camp, had suicide on their minds just to get out of hell. A specialist had smuggled Viktor out of the camp and they went and broke into an empty women’s camp. To their surprise they found the hut a mess, but they also found bowls that would be very useful to them but they decided not to take them. They also found rucksacks and a toothbrush, and then to Viktor’s surprise he found what else they left behind, a body of a woman. My reaction’s to what happened in part one are a combination of things. The whole concentration camp, I believe is morally wrong. I was upset when they broke into the women’s hut and found a body of a woman that they just left behind. No one knows maybe on how that woman died, maybe in a trample to get out, I don’t know. It makes me shutter just the thought of watching someone die and then have to call someone in to take out the dead body, then to watch the dead body just be treated like nothing, like it isn’t a human being at all. The fact that all of the workers had thought about suicide makes me sick to my stomach. No one should ever have to live a life like that, to think that suicide is their only option to get out of anything. After reading this book I can improve my life by being thankful for what I have. I can always look at the bright side. I think that there will always be someone out there in the world that has it worse then me, even though I always think I have it the worse. Also that there will always be a place for me it I set it up. Logotherapy is the therapy that Viktor came up with. Logo coming from the word “meaning” like the will of meaning. The meaning of life depending on people can vary, what people want can reflect on past conflicts. There is also the meaning of love and suffering.
