romeo and juliet

... lovers laid eyes on each other at a party and could not endure being apart from one another. It was love at first sight, and the ill-fated couple had completely no control over their passionate love for each other. “My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss,” remarks Romeo to Juliet when they first see each other. The astrological destiny that awaits them is impaired by the matriarchal names which try forcefully to keep them apart. It just happened to be an unknown force in life or chemistry between two people which took part right away when they saw each other. “Go ask his name. If he be married, my grave is like to be my wedding bed,” is what Juliet told her nurse and guardian. Romeo goes to Juliet and asks for her hand in a dance. However before the marriage takes place, Mercutio, a relative of the prince and friend of Romeo, and Benvolio, Romeo’s cousin meet Tybalt by chance on the street. An argument happens and Tybalt kills Mercutio. Romeo takes Mercutio indoors for help, but Tybalt follows in a rage and fights with Romeo. Tybalt falls under Romeo’s sword. Romeo flees.
