Jawbreaker
...ed in front of my house, from walking home from school my sister and I tossed our backpacks to our grandma and ran to the park. It was a nice day outside, the weather was warm and all the kids in the neighborhood were playing at the park in front of my house. My grandma had stopped walking and was busy chatting with one of our neighbors. When I reached the swings I started talking to a girl in the other second grade class from across the hall. She was eating some candy, so I wanted to eat my candy too, that my teacher gave me earlier that day. I ran down the sidewalk to my grandma interrupting her conversation to ask for my candy out of my backpack. She let me have my backpack not really knowing what I was talking about. So I grabbed a big blue hard ball out of the front pocket and started to walk back to the park. While I was walking to the park I ripped the plastic opened and shoved the huge jawbreaker in my mouth, holding it on one side of my check and ran to the swings. Me and my sister were playing around, when I stood up on the swing and put my feet in between the two triangles on the side of the seat and started to push myself forward by yanking the chain with my hands. Before I could swing high my sister jumped on the swing between my legs, lying on her stomach, like always, she swung me forward and the jawbreaker flung in the back of my throat. I was about to collapse, I couldn’t breath, it was stuck in my throat, and I thought was going to die. I jumped off the swing and went running to the house.
