... and work. I do not want one to suffer because of the other. Helping my family adjust to my new school responsibilities: I have two teenage boys, and a husband. Now with my new schedule they do not understand why I do not have time, for "everything", like I used to. My teenagers thought it was unrealistic, even funny, for me to go back to school. My family has to adjust to my new commitments, just as I have had to adjust. It is just as important for my family to adjust as me. Helping friends understand my new commitments: I do not have the time that I used to for my friends, I find myself opting out on invitations, and having less communication with them. The best way to tackle my challenges, with my new commitments, is how we tackle everything in my family...as a unit! There are new priorities and schedules set for everyone. My teens chip in on housework, laundry, and even surprise me by cooking dinner! My husband does more with the children, and keeps them oc...
