...y. Supposedly this is the answer to the ideal look most of us seek. There are shows like The Swan, I Want a Famous Face on MTV, and Extreme Makeover. We watch these shows and wish we could look like that or have the opportunity to have all that work done for free. Most would expect women to go to these extremes, but now you see just as many men going through these procedures. We seem to be influenced to achieve these ideal looks from the most famous faces. For men they are the Hollywood men such as Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and even Leonardo DiCaprio. For women it’s Hollywood women such as Julia Roberts, Angelina Coates 2 Jolie, or Jennifer Aniston. These men and women set the standards for the looks men and women want to achieve. Women want Angelina or Julia’s lips others want Pamela Anderson’s boobs. Men go for the rock hard abs of Brad Pitt or they even go as low as wanting Ron Jeremy’s penis. Most men and women want to look like these people due to the fact that they look at themselves in the mirror and don’t think they look good enough to attract the opposite sex. We swoon over the “hottest” Hollywood stars making the opposite sex believe that if they look like these stars they will attract more of the opposite sex. Every other commercial on television is and ad to upgrade your appearance. They go any where from weight loss to breast enhancement all the way down to hair restoration surgery.
