Bulimia leads to several health complications, such as; erosion of teeth enamel and tooth decay, dental cavities and swelling and soreness of the salivary gland due to the mouth’s repeated exposure to the acidic, gastric acids of the stomach and repeated vomiting; raptures of the stomach and oesophagus; stomach ulcers; abnormal build up of fluid in the intestines; electrolyte imbalance; dehydration; irregular heart beat; heart attack; decreased libido; and suicidal behaviour.
