It disappointed him to see those headlines because he saw everyone behaving in a respectful manner. The second argument against my contention is shown in a letter from Jennifer Knight of Hoddles Creek. She said that John Howard has got it all wrong. Jennifer Knight said that we shouldn’t treat the disposal of rubbish at a sacred site as acceptable. Her tone in this letter described her point of view as a disagreement towards John Howard as he acted as if it were acceptable to leave our rubbish at the sacred site. The second argument in support of my contention is shown in the article “PM Defends Anzac Pilgrims.” In this article John Howard said, “I’ll not hear a bad word against those young Australians.” He was backing the Australians that attended the dawn service in Anzac Cove. This shows that Mr Howard has full support of the Australians that showed respect and does not want to hear that they were disrespectful.
