...est theme, it answers the question "What is Death of a Salesman really about?" Through out the entire play honesty is a major issue. Willy, Biff, Happy are all dishonest to themselves and others. This dishonesty is one of the main reasons that the loman family has fallen apart. There is alot of lying, cheating, and stealing occuring in the life of these three men and it is such a natural occurance that Willy, Biff, and Happy are almost always oblivious to there actions.
