An image drawn from the setting "a lone tree" emphasises his isolation, he still feels trapped and nothing has been resolved by the end of the poem. The Poem a Road not taken by Robert Frost is literally about a man in a country town who is walking down the road he comes to a fork and goes one way however metaphorically it is about life and the journey you take, with each new path a new choice is present and with each choice a different path is followed, and you can never go back because as soon as one choice is made another is already formed. The language used is simple and plain which is symbolic of the rural setting and how choice is a part of our everyday life. The second verse is a reflection of the road he chose, which was the one less travelled by, this is symbolic of individuality and the poet being nonconformist. The end of the poem outlines how he took the road less taken but isn't concerned with this as it "has made all the difference", this symbolises life and how we must accept what happens from the choices we make. The Tv program getaway takes the viewer on a virtual journey so they feel they have been there with the host, without leaving the comfort of their home. One issue which people face when deciding to take a journey is the fear they have form leaving their comfort zone, with getaway the places are featured in bright, vibrant colours with happy families to lure the optimist and pessimist into the journey. The opening scene calls attention to a song which says "getaway I've got to get away", the tune is catchy in order to engage the listener.
