...werent so strong when friendships werent broken, right was right and wrong was wrong. when bad things didnt happen, only skinned knees brought tears and the night light quieted all our fears. when decisions were solved by "eni, meanie, mini,mo." when boys were so YuCkY! and goodbye only meant till tomorrow. when your clothes didnt need to match and real friends didnt part. and the fun went on forever without a broken heart That was poem #2, which i didnt write. Hours I spent, staring deep into my sad and confused eyes, All the time, I was wondering why... Trying to find out what I had to hide. I was lost, deep within my body with no way out. The light of the stars lay deep inside them, waiting to shine, But I knew not my name, So they never would, I was trying to search to find myself, knowing I was worse than anyone else Lost, deep within myself, my life left on a forgotten shelf. Fighting not to break down, my face remained in a frown, but you made me laugh again. Trying hard to keep my life in line, wanting to apologize for every lie, going home with tears streaming down my face, I had fallen behind the pace, As my life crumbled around me, I too began to shatter. No one knew what was the matter. They all think they know, me, U helped me understand, my life isn't like a one man band, I'm always going to have a friend, through the thick and through the thin....
